Dr. Roy Nicholas Pettinger was born on March 2, 1955 in Russell, IA and passed away on January 28, 2019.
Dr. Roy Nicholas Pettinger died January 28, 2019 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was 63.
He was born March 2, 1955 in Chariton, Iowa to Robert and Erville Pettinger. He graduated from Russell High School in 1973, and then from Central College in Pella, Iowa and Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He practiced emergency medicine for many years.
Survivors include his brothers, Gerald Pettinger of Russell, Iowa and Dr. Thomas (Susan) Pettinger of Vail, Arizona as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father and by his sister, Marilyn Hall and her husband Dean Hall.
His body was cremated; no services were planned.
