Emil J. Day, age 77, of LeClaire was born in Russell, Iowa in 1933 to Raymond and Clara Day. Memorial services were held Dec. 28, 2010 at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport. He was united in marriage to Alice Buckalew in Princeton, Missouri on February 2, 1952. He is survived by his wife, daughter Penny, son Randy, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three sisters, and two brothers.
