Brenda Sue was born on April 8, 1966 in Davenport, Iowa to George and Margaret Gall. She graduated from Chariton High School and from there, went on to graduate from Iowa School of Beauty. Brenda returned to Chariton and became a paraeducator for the Chariton Community School District, working with a host of kids throughout the years.
Brenda met Donnie McGee and the two were united on February 19, 2000. They were blessed to share nearly 20 wonderful years together surrounded by their family and friends as well as their pets, whom Brenda loved dearly.
Brenda always kept busy, whether it be working on a craft project, volunteering on the Lucas County Fair Board, or simply being out in the community. Spending time with her family was extremely important, and there was nothing better in her eyes than a house full of family and friends. Her three grandchildren were the light of her life and she treasured every moment spent with them. Brenda took great pride in being a member of the Chariton community, and people will tell you that she never knew a stranger. She had a way of making you feel important, an attribute that was admired by many. There are many ways to describe Brenda, and many stories that her family could tell about her, however her children sum it up best by saying, “Simply, she was everything to everybody.”
