Kaye
VanFleet, 71, of Chariton passed away October 17, 2018 at the Mercy
Medical Center in Des Moines. A Celebration of Life Service will be held
on Tuesday, October 22nd at 2:30 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home
in Chariton. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service,
beginning at 1:30 p.m. Kaye's wishes were to be cremated and she will
be buried at a later date at the Avon Cemetery. Memorials may be made to
the Lucas County Veterans Memorial Park.Kaye is survived by her children: Tawnya (Doug VerPloegh) Overton, Robert L. Overton II, Malissa (Patrick) Graham, and Tralisa VanFleet; 12 grandchildren: Miranda, Gary, Dillon, Teeanna, Houston, Haylee, Paige, Jayden, Peyton, Carter, Conner, and Layla; three great grandchildren; and siblings, Charles Graves II and Marcia Hoch; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Preceding Kaye in death were her parents, Charles and Mildred Graves; husband, Gary Overton; and granddaughter, Shyanne.
