Gayle Jeanette Lockridge, 50 years old, passed away on Friday, January
1, 2021 in Bentonville due to complications from diabetes.
Gayle was born March 23, 1970 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter to Ike and Carol Lockridge. The family moved to Rogers, Arkansas when Gayle was a teenager and she graduated from Rogers High School in 1988. She was a paralegal and a member of the Church of Christ.
Gayle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wilbur and Jeanette Dawson and Alva and Hazel Lockridge. She is survived by her son Justin Smock, wife Marion and one year old grandson Harrison from France; parents Ike and Carol Lockridge, brother Rick Lockridge, wife Molly and two nephews, Joseph Lockridge and Quinten Lockridge, all from Rogers and her feisty cat Simba.
Gayle was a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who was taken from us too soon. We have been inspired by her strength and resilience through life but her unconditional love for her family will give us peace through the coming days.
A celebration of Gayle’s life will be Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Southside Church of Christ in Rogers at 2:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Women’s Shelter. Arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 North 4th Street, Rogers, AR. Online condolences to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.
