Celebration of Life for Keith A. Jones, 55, of Russell will be held
Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher
Funeral Home in Chariton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in
care of Keith’s family.
Keith was born July 1, 1961 at Camp
Lejeune, North Carolina to Richard “Dick” Jones and Myrtle (Parsons)
Jones. He passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Lucas County
Health Center at the age of 55 years.
Keith has worked for Manatt’s Construction, Deflecta Shield, Nestaway, Hy-Vee, Stratford Homes, and Midwest Concrete Coatings. Keith was working at the Lucas County Health Center at the time of his death.
Keith loved all his children. He had a special bond with his grandsons, Waylon Anderson and Taven Cook. Keith enjoyed riding his dirt bikes, his Harley Davidson and traveling to Colorado to spend time with Kip and his family.
Keith is survived by his children: Janetta Cook of Chariton, Maggie Jones of Clive, Kody (Lexi) Jones of Chariton, and Kaylie Jones of Chariton. Along with special friend Vicki Walker of Humeston; parents: Dick and Mert Jones of Chariton; siblings: Pam (David) Raymie of Knoxville, Kevin (Donna) Jones of Knoxville, Kurt Jones of Inver Grove Heights, MN, Ken Jones of Corydon, Kip (Kelly) Jones of Arvada, CO; two grandsons: Waylon Anderson and Taven Cook; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.
Preceding Keith in death were his grandparents; sister-in-law, Vicki Jones; and nephew, Jeremy DeVore.
