Services for Merna Robb, 91, will be Friday Feb. 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Russell Cemetery.-----------------------
Merna Louise Robb was born September 1, 1918 in Benton Township, Lucas County, Iowa to James Lloyd Risbeck and Dora Elizabeth Davis. She passed a way February 4, 2011 at the Roseville Rehabilitation and Health Care facility in Roseville, Illinois. After attending High School in Russell, Iowa, she earned her teaching certificate. She taught five years in a one room school house south of Russell. She and Quincy J. Robb were married on January 17, 1942. She was the mother of three sons: Paul and twins, David and Donald.
