Two events will celebrate Jim's life and commemorate his passing: A Memorial service for Jim Cooper, Jr. was held on Saturday, May 12, at 10:20 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church. in Russell, Iowa. Sunday, May 13, 2012 in the space on the east side of Wheatsfield Cooperative Grocery, Main St. and Northwestern Ave., Ames, Iowa. Dean Thompson Memorial
A memorial service for Dean Thompson (who passed away in Sun City, AZ on January 18, 2011), will be held on May 5th at 10:30a.m. at the Russell Methodist Church with Pastor Linda Reida presideing.
